NEWPORT --Work along Lower Thames Street continues today, as the city is reporting that crews completed milling operations from Memorial Boulevard to Underwood Court on Tuesday.
Today, April 25, milling operation is scheduled to continue from Underwood Court to Morton Avenue.
The roadway will be open from Memorial Boulevard to Dean Street all day, however motorists should expect intermittent detours from Dean to Morton Avenue.
North of Wellington, crews will be doing hand work around manholes and catch basins.
Parking restrictions will remain in place, as posted, until the milling operation is complete. Please be advised that vehicles that are not moved will be TOWED. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and patience.
