NEWPORT -- Realtor volunteers wrapped up their work on this year's Rebuilding Together project over the weekend. The annual community service campaign, which benefits one lucky homeowner with repairs to their property.
This year's project focussed attention on a house on Burnside Avenue, where needed repairs included a remodeled bath, kitchen, fresh coat of paint, and landscaping.
And while much of the finishing work was done on Saturday, Realtor Jack McVicker reported that the project actually stretched over a period of three weeks.
Project materials were supplied, in par,t by the Middletown Home Depot.
