The City of Newport is in the final phases of design for two separate construction projects to make utility and streetscape improvements to the portion of Broadway from Farewell St. to Bliss Rd.
Residents and businesses along Broadway are invited to a public informational meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 19 from 8:30 - 10:30 a.m., in the City Council Chambers on the second floor of Newport City Hall.
Project information such as current construction plans, anticipated work activities, and proposed work schedules will be discussed. The city want to gather input from interested parties that will lead to the development of a balanced approach to construction that will help to limit construction impacts during the project.
