The Wizard of Oz at the Trinity Pumpkin Patch

NEWPORT, R.I. – In anticipation of All Hallow’s Eve at month’s end, Queen Anne Square comes alive at sundown this Friday, October 16th at 6:30 for Trinity Church’s First Annual Pumpkin Patch featuring a screening of “The Wizard of Oz.” The young and young at heart are welcome at this free event and should bring blankets and lawn chairs and settle in to watch this American classic celebrating its 70th anniversary– and costumes are encouraged. The Pumpkin Patch is a fund-raising event for Trinity Church, and runs from October 15th through October 31st.
