NEWPORT, R.I. – Nothing gets us in the holiday spirit more than walking down Bannister’s Wharf with the scent of freshly cut evergreens in the air. At the Clarke Cooke House, which is a perennial holiday standout, no detail is overlooked, while just across the way at Sayer’s Wharf, Matt Gineo of Oldport Marine (right), puts the finishing touches on the Amazing Grace in preparation for the annual harbor boat parade.
