MIDDLETOWN, R.I. – Nicolas Cage, the Hollywood megastar who purchased the historic Grey Craig property in Middletown not quite two years ago, only to put it back on the market earlier this year, has reportedly run into a bit of tax trouble, prompting the Academy Award-winning actor to divest himself of several homes in an international portfolio of properties.

According to a report out of the UK Daily Mail, Cage is facing claims for millions of dollars in unpaid taxes and is said to have had a tax lien placed on him by U.S. authorities, resulting in his decision to sell his homes in California, Las Vegas, New Orleans, and yes, Middletown.

The latest to be put on the block is Midford Castle, a mock-Gothic castle in Somerset, England which was built in the shape of the ace of clubs.
